Chrono — a cartoon Brittany puppy with a clock collar
How it works

Three steps. Nobody has to learn anything new.

The whole point is that it feels like texting a friend who’s really good at scheduling.

  1. 01

    Tell Chrono what you’re planning

Title, rough duration, and the people you want to invite by phone or email. Takes about a minute.

    Step 1 of 3
  2. 02

Chrono asks everyone, in plain English

No links, no apps. Each person gets a friendly text. They reply however they normally talk: “saturdays after 6”, “the first week of June”, “not mondays”.

    Step 2 of 3
  3. 03

You confirm. Chrono handles the rest

Top options arrive in your dashboard. Pick one and Chrono sends the calendar invite to everyone.

    Step 3 of 3
Here's what it looks like

A normal text conversation, end to end.

Your friends see a regular SMS from Chrono. They reply however they want. Chrono figures out the rest and brings you the answer.

  • Replies in natural language — no menus to navigate
  • Time zones handled automatically per person
  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out

What Chrono does

A friendly assistant who happens to be a dog

Chrono isn’t an app. There’s no “chatbot” vibe. He’s just there in your messages, getting the time pinned down.

Talks like a person

“Fridays after 6”, “any time the week of the 14th”, “not mornings” — Chrono understands them all.

Knows time zones

Chrono tracks each person’s local time so a 7pm dinner means 7pm wherever they are.

Friendly nudges

If someone says “remind me tomorrow”, Chrono actually does. Quietly. Never spammy.

Privacy-first

Your contacts stay yours. STOP works instantly. Numbers and replies are purged after the event.

Questions

The stuff people ask first

Do my friends need to install anything?+

No. Chrono just texts them. They reply like they would to anyone else. If they want a richer view, the message includes a private link they can tap — no signup, no password.

Is this an AI chatbot?+

Chrono isn't trying to be a chatbot. He's a small, focused assistant for one thing: pinning down a time. He understands natural-language replies under the hood, but you'll never feel like you're talking to a robot.

What if someone doesn't want texts from Chrono?+

They reply STOP. That's it. We honor it instantly across every future message, and you'll see them marked as opted out in your dashboard.

How much does it cost?+

Free during the beta. Long-term plan is $1 per event with three free events per host so you can use it casually without a subscription.

Where do you keep my data?+

On Microsoft Azure, in the United States. Phone numbers and replies are kept only as long as the event needs them, then purged automatically.

Got something to plan?

Try Chrono in the beta. It takes a minute to start your first event.
